Pebble is a lifestyle store for kids, supporting local fashion brands and designers since 2008. We offer a carefully curated selection of kids’ clothing, shoes, accessories, and gift items.
Thanks to our high-quality products, and dedication to incredible customer service, we now have two Pebble locations. Our original store is located in the Arbutus Walk area of Kitsilano, and last year we opened our second location in beautiful Edgemont Village in North Vancouver.
What you’ll do:
The goal of this position is to help the store grow and succeed in whatever way you can, through excellent consultative advice, empathetic customer service, and thorough knowledge of our product line.
You will also bring strong relationship building skills, and an acute sense of how to motivate people, elevating the capabilities of the entire team. You earn the respect of the people around you with your work ethic, knowledge, and understanding, and can effectively coach and mentor your team members.
You understand that impeccable customer service is an integral element of the company’s success, and you bring that attitude to all your customer interactions, allowing you to increase sales, and grow the business even further.
On any given day, you’ll find yourself doing the following:
— Ensuring a tailored experience for every customer by being attentive to each customer and their unique needs
— Becoming knowledgeable and up-to-date on company communication, priorities, new products and any additional information
— Maintaining the overall appearance of the store, including merchandising and visual displays
— Inventory management and stock replenishment
— Utilizing Point of Sale (POS) systems for daily transactions
— Executing opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications we're looking for:
— Experience in customer service or in a customer facing role
— Experience in a leadership role (ability to make decisions and take calculated risks)
— Experience working in a retail environment (familiar with POS, closing and opening procedures)
— Available to work consistent, regular hours during peak seasons
— Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
— Must be able to legally work in Canada.
